Journal of Qualitative Inquiry in Human Sciences (JQIHS) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to advancing qualitative research across the human sciences. Published by Malabi Institute (Yayasan Pendidikan Malabi Indonesia), the journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and policymakers interested in exploring human experiences, meanings, cultures, identities, and social realities through rigorous qualitative inquiry.
JQIHS welcomes original research articles, methodological papers, and qualitative systematic reviews that contribute to the advancement of qualitative scholarship and practice. The journal encourages interdisciplinary dialogue and promotes innovative qualitative approaches that deepen understanding of human behavior, social interaction, cultural dynamics, and lived experiences.
The journal publishes studies in counseling and guidance, psychology, sociology, anthropology, education, public health, gender and diversity studies, cultural studies, and other related areas within the human sciences. JQIHS accepts a wide range of qualitative methodologies, including Phenomenology, Grounded Theory, Ethnography, Narrative Inquiry, Case Study, Participatory Action Research (PAR), Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), Thematic Analysis, Qualitative Content Analysis, and Qualitative Meta-Synthesis.
Every manuscript submitted to JQIHS undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by experts in relevant disciplines.
